BOHEMIA, N.Y., 26 Feb. 2008.Data Device Corp. (DDC) in Bohemia, N.Y., is partnering with Dynapar in Gurnee, Ill., to offer 14-bit resolution solutions for high-reliability position-sensing applications.

The companies are combining DDC's RD19240 resolver-to-digital converterwith Dynapar's HaroMax lightweight aluminum housing, size 15 resolver rated to 155 degrees Celsius.

Programmable features of the resolver-to-digital converter, such as resolution, bandwidth, and tracking rate, allow for dynamic configurability, while a built-in test output monitors for loss of signal, reference frequency, or tracking.
