FLIR to provide infrared sensors for Finish weapon sights

PORTLAND, Ore., 12 Feb. 2008. FLIR Systems Inc. in Portland, Ore., will provide infrared sensors for the Finish Remote Weapon Station Sight (RWSS).

PORTLAND, Ore., 12 Feb. 2008. FLIR Systems Inc. in Portland, Ore., will provide infrared sensors for the Finish Remote Weapon Station Sight (RWSS).

FLIR is providing the sensors to Patria Weapon Systems Oy in Vammala, Finland, under terms of a $1.3 million order. FLIR sensors will go into Patria's 120-millimeter unmanned mortar turret, named NEMO, which can be mounted onto various tracked and wheeled chassis as well as boats.

Work will be at FLIR's facilities in Danderyd, Sweden. Deliveries will begin near the end of 2008. For more information contact FLIR Systems online at www.flir.com.
