RESTON, Va., 23 March 2012. Rolls-Royce has received recent contracts for over $275 million to provide support services for the U.S. Armed Services.
Rolls-Royce will provide Mission Care service support for AE 1107C, AE 2100 and T56 engines which power a variety of US aircraft, including the V-22, C-130, P-3 and C-2 in operation with the U.S. Air Force, Navy and Marines.
Recent contracts announced by the US Department of Defense include a US Air Force $112.2 million services contract for AE 2100 engines and propeller systems for C-130J aircraft, three contracts from the U.S. Marine Corps that add up to $84.7 million for maintenance services on AE 1107C engines for V-22 aircraft and $45.2 million for logistics and technical engineering services for AE 2100 engines for KC-130J aircraft, and a U.S. Navy contract worth $33.8 million for repair of T56 engines in P-3, C-130 and C-2 aircraft.
The contracts cover work to be delivered in 2012 and 2013.
