AYER, Mass., 16 March 2009.VME chassis and backplane supplier Hybricon Corp. in Ayer, Mass., has earned the AS9100Aerospace Quality Standard System Certification for safety, reliability, and quality in rugged aerospace systems.

Hybricon also has fulfilled requirements to achieve an upgrade to ISO9001 certification, and is certified to ISO9001:2008 revision.

AS9100 was designed to enhance ISO9001 by focusing on the additional, more rigorous expectations and requirements of the aerospace industry.
