DENVER, 9 Nov. 2007. Leaders of Zeligsoft Inc., an embedded software development tools vendor in Arlington, Va., are opening company offices in the United Kingdom and France to take advantage of the European software-defined radio (SDR) market.

Zeligsoft's European-based customers include defense and communications companies in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, and Turkey. Zeligsoft announced the European expansion this week at the Software Defined Radio Technical Conference in Denver.

Zeligsoft has SDR tool customers in North America, Asia, and Europe, company officials say. With Pan-European agencies such as the European Defence Agency (EDA) and the European Union (EU) now coordinating multi-country programs, Zeligsoft's personnel in the UK and France will be deployed to provide committed technical and commercial support to these projects.

Zeligsoft's European operations are important to Zeligsoft's entry into the market for software development tools for multicore, multiprocessor and SoC architectures, company officials say. Zeligsoft is targeting a group of embedded systems makers, including defense, aerospace, and telecommunications equipment providers with an environment developed for heterogeneous multiprocessor systems.
