Department of Defense contracts Optimus Corporation to develop AMM prototype

Fort Collins, Colo., 1 May 2006. Optimus Corporation, provider of enterprise information management via Web services and on mobile media, has been awarded a Department of Defense contract to develop the prototype and proof of concept for Federal Logistic Information System Agile Mobile Media (FLIS AMM). Optimus will work for the Defense Logistics Information Systems (DLIS), a component of the Defense Logistic Agency (DLA).

Optimus will work for the Defense Logistics Information Systems (DLIS), a component of the Defense Logistic Agency (DLA).

The FLIS AMM project allows DLIS to leverage web applications to create mobile media products that permit military personnel to obtain the information they need anywhere.

The acquisition process associated with this award was managed by the Federal Systems Integration and Management Center or FEDSIM under the GSA Schedule 70 Contract for Information Technology Services.
