YORBA LINDA, Calif. – B&K Precision Corp. in Yorba Linda, Calif., is introducing the RFP3000 series RF peak-power sensors for military and commercial radar, electronic warfare (EW), wireless communications, and research applications.

Each sensor uses real-time processing and enhanced hardware triggering to capture elusive signals. The sensors, in combination with the included Power Analyzer software, measure pulsed, burst, and modulated signals.

The sensors are powered by the host computer's USB port and enabled with advanced measurement and analysis software. Features include real-time power processing; acquisition rate of 100 megasamples per second continuous sampling; an effective sample rate of 10 gigasamples per second; time base resolution of 100 picoseconds; 16 automated pulse measurements; crest factor and statistical measurements; synchronized multi-channel measurements; measurement buffer mode to capture selected detail of consecutive pulses or events; and power analyzer application software with measurement and analysis.

The RFP3000 sensors can combine with an optional RFM3000 RF power meter to provide a measurement system without a personal computer. The RF power meter adds LAN and HDMI connectivity with Power View functionality. Available in 2 channels or 4 channels with GPIB.
