The rugged fixed attenuators operate in temperatures from -55 to 70 degrees Celsius, and offer RF connectors that are TNC female.
GREENWOOD, Ind. – BroadWave Technologies Inc. in Greenwood, Ind., is introducing the model series 351-354-XXX line of 50-ohm fixed attenuators for aerospace and defense radar, base stations, telecommunications, and test equipment.
The fixed attenuators are rated 30 Watts average power with a 1.20:1 maximum voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). The operating frequency range is DC to 1 GHz, and standard attenuation values are 3, 6, 10, 20, and 30 decibels. The attenuators operate in temperatures from -55 to 70 degrees Celsius, and the RF connectors are TNC female.
The devices are useful for analyzing harmonic signals or isolating a device under test, and can help reduce the amount of power delivered in a transmission line without introducing much noise or distortion.
