GENEVA – STMicroelectronics in Geneva is introducing the TSB182 dual operational amplifier for medium-voltage power electronics applications. An operational amplifier (op-amp) is an integrated circuit that can amplify weak electric signals.
The TSB182 is for high-accuracy signal conditioning with sensors, including maximum 20-microvolt input offset voltage, 100 nanovolts per Celsius degree drift over temperature, and 4-to-36-volt operating range.
The rugged TSB182 works in temperatures from -40 to 125 degrees Celsius, and offers a maximum offset voltage of 30 microvolts over the full temperature range in industrial and automotive environments.
Package options include MiniSO-8, which helps designers save board space and target small module sizes. AEC-Q100 qualified devices are available.
The TSB182 power electronics device also combines fast dynamic response and low power consumption. The gain-bandwidth product (GBW) is 3 MHz, with slew rate of 2 volts per microsecond, ensuring minimal output distortion across the frequency range.
The devices also are hardened against electromagnetic interference for use in electrically noisy environments. The TSB182 is in production and available now in MiniSO-8.
