Intelligent power switch for motor drive and automotive applications introduced by International Rectifier

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., 25 May 2011. International Rectifier in El Segundo, Calif., is introducing the AUIR3330S intelligent power switch for motor drive, automotive, and other applications that must keep conducted electromagnetic interference and switching losses to a minimum. The International Rectifier (NYSE:IRF) AUIR3330S has a proprietary active di/dt control to reduce conducted EMI and switching losses, and combines bootstrap regulator, charge pump, and high-side driver into one package.

International Rectifier in El Segundo, Calif., is introducing the AUIR3330S intelligent power switch for motor drive, automotive, and other applications that must keep conducted electromagnetic interference and switching losses to a minimum.The International Rectifier (NYSE:IRF) AUIR3330S has a proprietary active di/dt control to reduce conducted EMI and switching losses, and combines bootstrap regulator, charge pump, and high-side driver into one package.The 40-volt high-side device can drive as quickly as 40 kHz at 100 percent of duty cycle, and has programmable over-current and over-temperature protection for use in harsh automotive environments such as pumps and fans. The power electronics device also has current sensing feedback, a diagnostic function, low current consumption in sleep mode. and electrostatic discharge protection.
