TT Electronics debuts line of pulse-withstanding chip resistors

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas, 6 September 2006. TT electronics IRC Advanced Film Division has released its PWC Series of pulse-withstanding chip resistors that combine extended surge values with high voltage ratings. Designed for power supplies and circuit protection devices, the product is available in 0805, 1206, 2010, and 2512 chip sizes. The PWC Series resistors also are suitable for portable battery chargers, motor controls, and line-powered equipment.

Designed for power supplies and circuit protection devices, the product is available in 0805, 1206, 2010, and 2512 chip sizes. The PWC Series resistors also are suitable for portable battery chargers, motor controls, and line-powered equipment.

In the 0805, 1206, 2010, and 2512 package sizes, the PWC Series resistors feature power ratings of 125mW, 330mW, 750mW, and 1.5W, with maximum voltage ratings of 150V, 200V, 400V, and 500V, respectively. Operating temperature range is -55 degrees C to +155 degrees C. IRC will also produce devices outside these specifications to meet customer requirements.
