The RFLM-802123QC-291 can handle average power to 80 Watts at 49 dBm and pulsed-peak power to 200 Watts at 53 dBm at pulse width of 40 microseconds.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Electronics distributor RFMW in San Jose, Calif., is introducing the RFLM-802123QC-291 silicon PIN-diode limiter module for high-power continuous wave (CW) and peak power protection for X-band RF and microwave applications that operate from 8.7 to 10.7 GHz.

The RFLM-802123QC-291 can handle average power to 80 Watts at 49 decibel milliwatts (dBm) and pulsed-peak power to 200 Watts at 53 dBm at pulse width of 40 microseconds and a 5-percent duty cycle.

The device for X-band applications maintains low flat leakage to a maximum of 20 dBm, and reduces spike leakage to 0.5 ergs.

Recovery time is less than 1 microsecond. The combination of high peak power handling and fast recovery time is mandatory for mission-critical applications.

RF performance has insertion loss of 1.5 decibel. This quasi-active limiter requires no external control lines or power supply connections offering always-on protection.

The RF and microwave device comes in a 9-by-6-by-2.5-millimeter ceramic surface-mount package. For more information contact RFMW online at www.rfmw.com.
