Sirenza Microdevices acquires Micro Linear Corporation

BROOMFIELD, Colo., 1 Nov. 2006. Sirenza Microdevices Inc. has completed the acquisition of Micro Linear Corporation. Micro Linear, headquartered in San Jose, Calif., is a fabless semiconductor company specializing in wireless integrated circuit (IC) solutions used in a variety of wireless applications.

Micro Linear, headquartered in San Jose, Calif., is a fabless semiconductor company specializing in wireless integrated circuit (IC) solutions used in a variety of wireless applications.

The closing of the transaction followed the approval by Micro Linear's stockholders of a previously announced agreement and plan of merger with Sirenza at a special stockholder meeting.
