Tensolite to supply wire and optical fiber for databuses on Boeing 787 jetliner

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla., 13 Oct. 2006. Tensolite Co. in St. Augustine, Fla., will be the exclusive supplier of specialty high-temperature airframe wire, databus, and fiber optic cable for use in wire harnesses to be installed on the future Boeing 787 Dreamliner jetliner.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla., 13 Oct. 2006. Tensolite Co. in St. Augustine, Fla., will be the exclusive supplier of specialty high-temperature airframe wire, databus, and fiber optic cable for use in wire harnesses to be installed on the future Boeing 787 Dreamliner jetliner.

Tensolite will do the work under terms of a multi-year agreement with Labinal North America to supply wire, databus, and fiber optic cable for Labinal's wire harnesses that will be installed on the 787 airplane. Labinal is the prime provider of electrical wiring systems for the 787.

Production has started in support of this contract and will occur at Tensolite's St. Augustine, Fla., wire and cable manufacturing location. Tensolite's contract with Labinal extends through the end of 2011.
