FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. – AVX Corp. in Fountain Inn, S.C., is introducing space-qualified 200-volt PME multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) in 0805-2220 case sizes for challenging space and military power electronics applications like space launchers, satellite communications, and the input/output filtering lines of space power supplies.

FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. – AVX Corp. in Fountain Inn, S.C., is introducing space-qualified 200-volt PME multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) in 0805-2220 case sizes for challenging space and military power electronics applications like space launchers, satellite communications, and the input/output filtering lines of space power supplies.

The 200-volt PME MLCCs are compact, lightweight, and available with capacitance values spanning 330 picofarads to 330 nanofarads, and deliver significant performance improvements over 200-volt MIL-PRF stacked ceramic capacitors and 100-volt MIL-PRF surface mount products in 100-volt circuits when space derating rules are applied.

Tested to the European Space Components Coordination's (ESCC's) 3009 standard, the ESCC QPL 3009 PME series delivers high reliability performance in voltage ratings spanning 25 to 200 volts, capacitance values spanning 4.7 picofarads to 2.2 microfarads, and 0805-2220 cases with ESA Variant 03, 06, and 07 terminations, depending on the dielectric.

ESCC QPL 3009 PME MLCCs are available with standard lead times. For more information contact AVX online at www.avx.com.
