MELVILLE, N.Y. – Comtech PST Corp. in Melville, N.Y., is introducing the model BME58278-100 class AB linear amplifier for aerospace, avionics, and military and aerospace RF and microwave applications that operate in harsh environments.

The model BME58278-100 operates over the 500 to 2700 MHz frequency range with output power of 100 Watts minimum into a 2:1 voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR).

The amplifier features a solid-tate design; wide band operation; compact and light weight; is designed for military and aerospace environments; and has 90 quad combiners.

It has an RF and microwave gain of 52.5 dB + 3.5 dB; RF input overdrive of +20 dBm; input of 2:1 maximum; harmonic rejection of -13 dBc; spurious signals of -60 dBc; DC input of +18-36 volts; and DC current of 15 amps typical.

The amplifier operates in temperatures from -40 to 85 Celsius at altitudes to 30,000 feet. It resists the effects of shock and vibration per MIL-STD-810F, and can operate in 95 percent non-condensing humidity.

It measures 8 by 6 by 1.8 inches, and weighs four pounds, and built to operate in harsh environments. For more information contact Comtech PST online at www.comtechpst.com.
