Northrop Grumman completes sale of Electro-Optical Systems to L-3 Communications

LOS ANGELES, 22 April 2008. Northrop Grumman Corp. in Los Angeles has completed the sale of its Electro-Optical Systems business in Baltimore for $175 million in cash to L-3 Communications in New York, company officials announced today.

L-3 leaders say they believe their acquisition of Northrop Grumman's electro-optics business will strengthen L-3's core offerings. The sale was announced last month.
