Reynard Corporation manufactures gradient filters where the density can be customized to vary the light intensity from 100% to < 0.1% across the substrate. Types include: Apodizing, Arc, Circular, Comb & Linear. These coatings are designed to attenuate light as the filter is translated/rotated and are compatible with broadband and single-band applications. They can be designed to operate from the UV to IR.
