Marketers from Catalyst Semiconductor Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif., are introducing 32- and 64-kilobit I2C serial electronically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) chips, which company engineers build with a 0.8-micron process. The chips, built for applications such as digital satellite systems and modems, are available in Joint Electron Device Engineering Council-standard packages and operate over a wide voltage range with zero standby power. - J.K.
