The AGM2222 series offers current ratings to 110 Amps and low DC resistance in a package measuring 22 by 22 by 23 millimeters.

CARY, Ill. – Coilcraft Inc. in Cary, Ill., is introducing the AGM2222 series power inductors for high-current applications like automotive bi-directional 12-to-48-volt DC-DC converter.

The AGM2222 series offers current ratings to 110 Amps and low DC resistance in a package measuring 22 by 22 by 23 millimeters -- a 73 percent volume reduction from previous-generation products.

The AGM2222 series is available in 13 inductance values from 1.9 to 10 microhenries. It is qualified to AEC-Q200 Grade 1, operates in high-temperature applications from -40 to 125 degrees Celsius ambient.

Soft saturation is stable over temperature and enables high peak current handling. Magnetic shielding in this power electronics device reduces EMI at high switching frequencies.
