WINCHESTER, Ohio – Koford Engineering LLC in Winchester, Ohio, is introducing a 36-millimeter diameter by 43.6-millimeter long, high power density four pole slotless hall sensor brushless motor for aerospace or surgical power tool applications.

The motor produces an output of 301 Watts at 13,300 rpm, weighs 198 grams, and has a peak efficiency of 88 percent. The motor can withstand steam autoclave in a sealed housing or by using a autoclave bag.

The high-efficiency motor has a hardened stainless steel shaft and TFE lead wires. Modifications such as flats on the shaft or special shaft lengths are possible, and matching high-efficiency drives are available.
