GREENWOOD, Ind. – BroadWave Technologies Inc. in Greenwood, Ind., is introducing the model 651-038-020 20-decibel single-step voltage-controlled programmable attenuator for use in scientific test and measurement instruments.

The model 651-038-020 offers a RF and microwave frequency range is DC to 2.5 GHz, with attenuation range of 0 to 20 decibels in a 20 decibel step with plus-or-minus 0.6 decibels of attenuation accuracy.

Insertion loss is 0.6 decibels maximum while voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) ias a maximum of is 1.40:1. Input power is 1 Watt average with supply voltage 15 volts DC at 30 milliamps nominal.

The RF connectors are SMA female, and the control solder terminal features a feed-thru capacitor to prevent leakage. Other attenuation values and RF connector types are available.
