GREENWOOD, Ind. – BroadWave Technologies Inc. in Greenwood, Ind., is introducing the model 651-038-020 20-decibel single step voltage-controlled programmable RF and microwave attenuator for scientific instruments.

The frequency range is DC to 2.5 GHz. Attenuation range is 0 to 20 decibels in a 20-decibel step with ± 0.6-decibel attenuation accuracy.

The attenuator insertion loss is 0.6 decibels maximum while voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) is 1.40:1 maximum. Input power is 1 Watt average with supply voltage 15 volts DC at 30 milliamps nominal.

The RF and microwave connectors are SMA female, and the control solder terminal features a feed-thru capacitor to prevent leakage. Other attenuation values and RF connector types are available.
