Government decision-makers in South Korea sought to infuse its C-130 transport aircraft avionics with electronic warfare capabilities. They found their solution at Elisra Electronic Systems Ltd. in Bene Berak, Israel.

Bene Berak won a $25 million contract to supply the South Korean government with electronic warfare systems for the avionics systems on Korea’s C-130 four-engine turboprop transport aircraft. The advanced integrated airborne electronic warfare suite includes protection systems against various radar-guided and heat-seeking missiles.

This contract marks the second that Elisra, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems, has received for aircraft electronic warfare systems from the Republic of Korea.
