Beyond Electronics(BEC) provides Rugged COTS board and system level solutions in various small form factor products complying with standards such as VMEbus, VPX, PMC, XMC and  Comm Express®. If a program dictates, custom form factors are also easily accommodated.  BEC products often include standard interfaces such as:  PCIe, PCI, ATM, FPDP, SATA, ARINC-429 and Mil-Std-1553 to name a few.   The BEC technology suite includes processors provided by companies including: Freescale, AMCC, Intel, NXP and AMD as well as custom processors in FPGA System-On-Chip (SOC) implementations.  BEC has produced high performance Altera FPGA based designs, in both Verilog and VHDL, for signal processing, communications, signal intelligence (SIGINT), electronic warfare(EW) and control applications. BEC has helped military, industrial and medical customers with new product designs and with technology insertion for legacy product support and obsolescence challenges.  BEC has a well developed strategy to guarantee delivery of high reliability products that have superior testability through integrated tools such as built in test (BIT) as well obsolescence resistance through deliberate component selection and alternate design strategies. 

Some of BEC’s customers include: Lockheed Martin, L-3 Communications, Raytheon, Boeing, Thales Group and Caterpillar.  Key competencies include: graphics, image processing, networking, real time software, high performance communications, and high performance computing.
