DENVER - Palantir Technologies, a provider of artificial intelligence (AI) software in Denver, and FTAI Aviation Ltd., an aircraft engine maintenance company in New York, announced a multi-year strategic partnership that will allow FTAI to use Palantir's Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) across its global maintenance footprint.
Palantir says its platform is helping FTAI improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs by enhancing maintenance scheduling and inventory optimization. The companies said the effort includes modernizing FTAI's internal supply chain and adding efficiencies through automated workflows, rapid asset allocation, and dynamic procurement strategies.
With AI-assisted decision making, FTAI aims to accelerate production turnaround times and improve unit economics to deliver additional cost savings for customers. The company expects the technology to support its effort to challenge the traditional maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) shop-visit model and increase production capacity as demand grows.
