    Emtec Federal wins $17 Million U.S. Air Force award for displays, tablets

    CHANTILLY, Va., 7 Aug. 2008. Emtec Federal, an information technology systems and solutions provider, won awards from the Air Force Quarterly Enterprise Buy (QEB) program to provide roughly 70,000 Samsung 19-inch displays and 1,000 Lenovo Convertible PC Tablets. Under a series of delivery orders, Emtec Federal will manage staged deployments of the systems to agencies across all Air Force organizations worldwide. The total value of the contract is expected to exceed $17 million.
